Since most of the class was not available for the demo, I wanted to do a quick video review of the still shot we took and also post the video we shot of the food as part of the demo. As a reminder, we will not be in class this Monday because of the 4th of July Holiday. I would like you to shoot your inside portrait next to a window. Use a bounce card to fill the shadow. The best example I can think of is Japanese model/actress/pop singer photography. This genre of photography uses windows as prop and a light source more than any other type of model photography I can think of. Perhaps to make it seem more natural/girl next door. Look at the way the window is use as dominant source with little fill and also how much the photographer chooses to use fill light depending on the intent of the image. We discuss how to control the amount of fill light you need for your imagery. We will be discussing this and also working on a demo for shooting an accessories shot. As of now the theme is watches or Men's accessories. We will demo the plexi glass table. Let's write each other to get a final theme and then bring items to the shoot to use in the demo.
